Due to the increase in possible applications to be directly powered from low voltage DC, the amount of different infeed and load converters connectable to low voltage DC grids increases. To assure stability within these grids, impedance-based stability criteria can offer a practical solution. While accurate measurement of single converter systems can be handled under controlled conditions more easily, online measurement in distributed grids requires the point of measurement to be separated from the point of excitation. In this digest, a possible solution to this problem is shown and first measurement results presented.
