Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the term ‘mindset’, which is increasingly being used in business contexts in the German-speaking world. We explore both its theoretical origins and the current discourse around it in academic and trade publications. In conclusion, we present a tentative critique of the ideology underpinning the concept of mindset.
