Scientific Abstract
This project will elucidate the TLR4-independent signaling and intracellular trafficking mechanisms by which soluble CD83 (sCD83) induces tolerogenic dendritic cells. Combining phospho-proteomics, functional pathway analysis, and advanced imaging will define non-canonical routes of sCD83 action and provide essential mechanistic insight for the translational development of sCD83-based immunotherapies.
