Scientific Abstract

Around half of adults have at least one thyroid nodule. These are mostly harmless and do not require treatment. Identifying the relatively few harmful cases is a challenge for GPs. They need to know when a thyroid nodule may require treatment. The aim of the project is to develop a guideline on the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid nodules.
