Primary medical care of the future
The Institute of General Practice is responsible for research and teaching in the field of general practice. The Institute is working on health services research in primary care, i.e. the scientific evaluation of good patient care. One focus is on overdiagnosis and medical overuse. The Medical Care Center (MVZ) Eckental/Igensdorf is part of the institute. The MVZ sees itself as a model and teaching practice for the care of the future.
