Short description

Suitable analytical and data-based models for the hardware components
and signal processing blocks of the EmpkinS beacons and the base
stations are developed for resource allocation. Based on these models,
optimisation problems are formulated and resource allocation protocols
and algorithms are designed based on their solutions. Subsequently, the
most promising resource allocation concepts are implemented, verified
and further refined in an experimental system.

Scientific Abstract

Es werden für die Ressourcenallokation geeignete analytische und datenbasierte Modelle für die Hardwarekomponenten und Signalverarbeitungsblöcke der EmpkinS Beacons und der Basisstationen entwickelt. Basierend auf diesen Modellen werden Optimierungsprobleme formuliert und ausgehend von deren Lösungen Ressourcenallokationsprotokolle und -algorithmen entworfen. Anschließend werden die vielversprechendsten Ressourcenallokationskonzepte in einem Experimentalsystem implementiert, verifiziert und weiter verfeinert.
