Our highly selective Master’s study track HMDA (M.Sc. in Health &
Medical Data Analytics and Entrepreneurship) intends to achieve a
greater integration of innovation and entrepreneurship skills within the
study program.
The English taught study track is funded by the European MedTech consortium EIT Health and brings together four top-notch universities from different European countries: Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain, Técnico Superior de Lisboa (IST), Portugal, Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA), France, and Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Germany.
In contrast to traditional university education in engineering, the M.Sc. in HMDA aims to provide students with innovation and business skills in addition to their studies in medical data Analytics. By connecting them with the community of EIT Health, students gain access to the biggest MedTech network in Europe. Our students are trained an international mindset through a mandatory semester abroad, which is to be spent at one of the program’s partner universities. Practical experience and team skills will be acquired by innovative teaching and an early connection with Medtech companies and hospitals in the course of their studies.
