The project examines the processes of education and socialization in international educational exchanges in institutional and non-formal settings from the perspective of Comparative Education. In regional terms, the project focuses on international educational exchanges between Germany, Russia and Belarus. The main activities of the project are the conference "International Educational Exchange between East and West - from International Understanding to International Reflexivity" and the Winter School "International Educational Exchange between East and West" for participants from Germany, Russia and Belarus. The project is funded by a grant from the DAAD program "East-West Dialogue. Academic Exchange and Academic Cooperation for Security, Cooperation and Civil Society Development in Europe" by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with funds from the German Foreign Office (AA).
Im Projekt werden Bildungs-, Erziehungs- und Sozialisationsprozesse im internationalen Bildungsaustausch in institutionellen und non-formalen Settings aus der disziplinären Perspektive der Vergleichenden Erziehungswissenschaft betrachtet. In regionaler Hinsicht wird dabei der internationale Bildungsaustausch zwischen Deutschland, Russland und Weißrussland in den Blick genommen. Im Rahmen des Projektes werden die Tagung „Internationaler Bildungsaustausch zwischen Ost und West – von der Völkerverständigung zur internationalen Reflexivität“ sowie die Winter School „Internationaler Bildungsaustausch zwischen Ost und West“ für Teilnehmende aus Deutschland, Russland und Weißrussland durchgeführt. Das Projekt wird im Rahmen des DAAD-Programms „Ost-West-Dialog. Akademischer Austausch und wissenschaftliche Kooperation für Sicherheit, Zusammenarbeit und zivilgesellschaftliche Entwicklung in Europa“ vom Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienst (DAAD) aus den Mitteln des Auswärtigen Amts (AA) gefördert.
