As part of the Energy Transition, conventional power plants, which are currently responsible for the stability of the electricity grid, are increasingly being taken off the grid. New concepts are necessary to ensure system stability in the future. Therefore, a model is developed to describe the flexibility of charging processes of electric vehicles. Simulations are performed to investigate the capability, reliability, limits and costs of ancillary services with electric vehicles such as reserve power and congestion management as well as combinations of partly competing goals for various scenarios. A close cooperation partner is the StartUp ChargingLedger, which brings concepts from simulation to application.
