Fardad Vakilipoor received the B.Sc. in control engineering from the University of Hormozgan, Iran, (2016) and the M.Sc. in telecommunication engineering with 110 cum laude from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, (2020). During his M.Sc. degree, he was selected for the "Honours Programme Scientific Research in Information Technology". He obtained the Ph.D. with laude from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, (2024). As part of his Ph.D. program, he spent the visiting Ph.D. period at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. In 2024 he started a new position as a postdoctoral research fellow at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Germany. His research interests include Molecular Communication, Chemical reactions, and Control theory.
