Dr. Davide Lonigro

I graduated with a degree in Physics from the University of Bari in 2017, where I also completed in 2021 his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics, Mathematical Models and Methods with a research program centered on the mathematical properties of spin-boson interactions and their applications to waveguide electrodynamics. I spent visiting periods at the University Carlos III of Madrid and the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, among others, establishing regular collaborations. Since 2024 I am a researcher at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. My research activities lie at the boundary between Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, including open quantum systems, quantum free and controlled dynamics, foundations of quantum mechanics, renormalization of quantum field theories, quantum boundary conditions—whatever quantum.
