Abstract

The crustacean microcoprolite association of Favreina omanensis n. sp. and Thoronetia quinaria Bronnimann, Caron and Zaninetti occurs in shallow marine carbonates of the Upper Triassic Misfah Formation (Jabal Kawr), Oman. This is the first occurrence of microcoprolites reported in Triassic deposits of Oman.
