Microstructured piezoceramic and piezofibre composite parts are used for the integration of functions in light metal and fibre composite parts. The paper describes a high-volume compatible approach for manufacturing of prefabricated microstructured piezoparts which can be used as transducers. Key processes have been investigated experimentally and compared to each other.
