Abstract

Simulation of particle movement is an often studied problem in flow-based MC. In the case of channel networks, the behaviour of particles near branching points is less studied in the literature. We present first simulation results on how particles divide in channel networks based on 3D simulations. The fitting of a distinct separation line is obtained, which enables simplified particle simulations.
