Abstract

This research work focused to accurately determine the thermo mechanical flow behavior of manganese boron steel grade 22MnB5. In general, the true plastic strain obtained in experimental flow curves is lower than that observed in the industrial hot formed parts. Consequently, this work introduces a reliable methodology to deduce thermo-mechanical flow behaviour by using FE-simulations combined with invere optimisation.
