Abstract

We report on the first near-petahertz field-resolved detection of stimulated Raman scattering in liquid acetone at megahertz repetition rates. We resolve the CH3 stretching mode of liquid acetone by background-free measurement of the electric field of the stokes gain with attosecond precision.
