Abstract

The aim of this article is to show how recent results of the Weinstein equation give new insights for the classical harmonic polynomials. In the first section we present an explicit basis for the vector space Hn(R^d) of homogeneous harmonic polynomials of degree n on R^d . In the following two sections we derive an explicit orthonormal basis in case of the dimensions d= 3 and d= 4 .
