This article was retracted by the Editor after it was established that there were issues with Figures Fig. 3a 3b, and 7 that call into question the authenticity of the entire paper. Fig. 3b is identical to Fig. 5b on a retracted article by the same authors published in Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics https://doi.org/10.1007/s10854-013-1586-3, while Fig. 3b in Ceramics International refers to pore size distribution of pure and Ni-doped and Zn-doped SnO2, and Fig. 5b in Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics refers to pore size distribution of pure SnO2 at different temperatures (100/150/200 °C). Fig. 7 is a duplicated figure from Fig. 7 of paper https://doi.org/10.1016/j.apsusc.2013.07.055 The Editor-in-Chief has therefore lost confidence in the veracity of the results presented in this article.
