Abstract

This article summarizes the results of a study on selected finds from two Early Iron Age graves in Simmels-
dorf-St. Helena, district Nürnberger Land. From the inhumation grave under tumulus number 3 two selected vessels are described and typochronologically classified, as well as two bronze pins from this burial as well as another one from the neighboring inhumation burial under tumulus number 4. The dating of the finds and features to the Hallstatt C phase is plausible and, with caution, can even be assigned to the early Hallstatt C1 phase.
