Abstract

K2S6 was prepared in high purity and the crystal structure solved from X-ray powder data. K2S6 represents the most sulfur rich compound in the K-S-phase diagram. The dominating species in the crystal structure are six membered sulfur chains in an all-trans arrangement. Copyright © 2014 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
