Abstract

The increasing complexity of sophisticated production plants poses new challenges in the field of technical maintenance. The initial step in the repair procedure is a problem root-cause analysis. As a key enabler of the Industry 4.0 cyber-physical systems form the core of novel assistant systems, which deliver more efficient diagnostic mechanisms for production facilities.
