Abstract

TanDEM-X (TerraSAR-X add-on for Digital Elevation Measurements) is an innovative spaceborne radar interferometer mission that was launched on June 21, 2010. This paper gives an overview of scientific experiments that have been conducted during the TanDEM-X commissioning phase. Further, an outlook is given on future formation flying interferometric SAR missions.
