Abstract

The presented segmentation framework is applied to 18FFDG-PET/CT data of seven healthy adult C57/Bl6 mice. All reconstructions of the PET datasets were performed with the software EMRECON [9], [10]. For the non-parametric registration, an exhaustive parameter search is performed based on manual ground-truth segmentations to provide meaningful values for the various parameters (cf. Equation (1)). We found the following optimal parameter set: αCT = 10, αPET = 10, αCV = 100, αS = 1000. © 2012 IEEE.
