Abstract

The title compound, [RhCl(C8H12)(C6H13NO)], which is of interest from the point of view of catalysis, crystallizes with two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit, which is the complete unit cell. Neither the Rh-Cl nor the Rh-N bond lengths deviate significantly from the corresponding dimensions observed for closely related chloride-rhodium complexes in the literature. Individual molecules are inter-linked through N-H center dot center dot center dot Cl hydrogen-bonding interactions.
