Internally funded project
Start date : 23.04.2025
End date : 18.01.2026
he summer term 2025 focused on art and human rights. Within this framework, two independent yet thematically related seminars were held, accompanied during the summer term by a small lecture series with external guests that offered additional perspectives from art and society.
In an art education seminar, students worked with the KPZ to develop educational concepts that linked historical works exhibited at the Germanisches Nationalmuseum with the Way of Human Rights by Dani Karavan. The aim was to explore human rights as aesthetically tangible values within the museum’s collection, which extends into the public space.
At the same time, the project seminar focused on the development of artistic positions. Students explored questions of justice, sustainability, protection, and respectful coexistence through artistic practice. This project seminar extends beyond the summer term into the winter term and concludes with an exhibition at the Kulturladen Schloss Almoshof, where the students’ works are presented publicly.
