Joint project with Dr. Peter Henrich, State Archaeology of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage Rhineland-Palatinate

The Andernach Roonstraße site is located in the immediate vicinity of the Andernach Martinsberg site. In the run-up to the construction of the site, the sediments present there were recovered separately by quarter square meters under time pressure in 2006. As part of the project, the existing sediments are now being slurried by students of Archaeological Sciences at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and the contents evaluated in.

The project was supervised by Dr. Andreas Maier, assistant at the chair of UFG Erlangen.
