Isabella Dobler has been working as a research assistant at the Centre of Excellence for Teaching (formerly: Institute for Learning Innovation) since July 2022. Since April 2024, she has also been teaching courses and developing the curriculum for the Master's programme in Learning Design at the Chair of Education with a focus on digitalisation in higher education and adult education.
At the FAU Teaching Competence Centre, she is the coordinator for various European education projects in the higher education context (HealthyMindEd, remoteEDU, FAUHelp, TransACTION). In addition to project management, she develops, tests and implements digital, multimedia-based teaching and learning formats and materials together with international project partners.
During her bachelor's degree in social sciences at Humboldt University in Berlin, Isabella Dobler focused on quantitative social research and the dynamics of social inequality. With her master's degree in adult education and continuing education at Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg, her focus shifted to holistic and sustainable educational processes in adulthood. Isabella Dobler's current focus is on mental and physical health and methods of healthy and holistic (digital) teaching. She has practical experience in e-learning in both a university and a corporate context. She is also a certified dance/movement teacher and trained yoga instructor – perspectives and experience that flow into her teaching and holistic mindset.
