Abstract

Magnetic resonance of the excited luminescence centre in crystalline As2Se3, which was optically detected in a 16 GHz experiment, finally confirms the triplet character of the state, but reveals quite unusual spin parameters. The ODMR spectrum of bulk a-As2Se3 shows a superposition of a sharp peak at g=2 and a broad background signal, which is found to be consistent with the powder spectrum of the crystal. This indicates that part of the recombination in the glass involves the formation of similar intermediates states. © 1989.
