Abstract

A Moving Field Inductive Power Transfer (MFIPT)
system concept for wireless inductive power supply in EjROAD
traffic is described. In this system, inductive power receivers are
arranged along routes of inductive power stations and in the vehicles.
The MFIPT system provides the contactless energy transfer
from an electrified road to the electrically driven vehicles during
driving by dynamic inductive charging. In order to achieve a
high efficiency, only the energy channels are activated for which
the radiated energy can be received by energy recipients.
