Abstract

When contracting e-learning projects, governmental authorities often claim that gender mainstreaming has been incorporated. Checklists have been developed to assure this. This paper gives an overview and wants to question the benefit of these checklists. Based on empirical data from an e-learning project, gender effects in eLearning will be discussed.
