Abstract

This paper presents an ultra-wideband DC-Block directly integrated into a 50 ohm microstrip line manufactured on a 4 mil thick alumina substrate. The DC-Block features a low frequency 3 dB cutoff at 37 MHz and a measured resonance-free operation up to 150 GHz. Its excellent return loss of at least 20 dB and low insertion loss of less than 1.1 dB makes it a perfect choice for the next generation of test and measurement applications from nearly DC up to 150 GHz.
