Abstract

This paper gives an overview over a global navigation satellite system (GNSS)

interference detection and classification system developed by the Fraunhofer Institute

for Integrated Circuits IIS. Two sensor platforms are presented and their performance

and costs compared. An interference detection network consisting of two sensor types is

introduced. Additionally, real-world deployment scenarios and use-cases are analyzed

and suggestions are made for an ideal cost-value ratio. The sensor network shows that

reliable interference detection and classification is possible at reasonable costs.
