Abstract

In this paper an approach is outlined, which can be used to integrate dead times in offline simulations to generate exactly the same behaviour between two types of simulation - real-time and offline – and estimate stability of control loops. To highlight the problem, a grid-feeding Voltage Source Converter is modeled in both simulations. The solution includes as well a general transfer function to estimate controls in real-time.
