Abstract

TanDEM-X is the first single-pass interferometer consisting of two SAR satellites flying in close formation. The mission acquires bistatic images for generating a global DEM and providing new experimental modes. This paper describes the interferometric performance of the system focusing on key quality parameters of the global DEM data.
