Abstract

In this work, periodic macro-cellular structures with dense struts are successfully fabricated from an aluminum brass by selective electron beam melting (SEBM). The process window for the SEBM of the Cu–Al alloy is developed. The microstructure and the mechanical properties of the Cu–Al samples are studied.
