Abstract

The talk aims to give a short overview of how different media try to deal with simultaneity. The main focus concerns the techniques employed by the respective media to represent physical concepts of the present moment. This question led to the conception and writing of the experimental text z+x3+y6, which tackles the idea of simultaneity both visually and textually. Parts of the text and the ideas involved in its construction will be explored in the accompanying reading.
