Abstract

This paper presents a triple band two port vector network analyzer (VNA) consisting of two six-port-junctions for biomedical concentration measurements. The microwave sensing system is designed to operate with a 10\% bandwidth around 6.6 GHz, 19.7 GHz and 32.4 GHz. An embedded coplanar permit- tivity sensor will be applied for measurements of aqueous glucose solutions. The entire microwave sensing system is designed, fab- ricated and characterized with different glucose concentrations in binary solutions.
