Abstract


In this paper biomechanical human models are proposed as a possibility to simulate ergonomic aspects of user-product interaction already in the early stages of the development process. Hereby designers are enabled to quantify the relationship between design parameters and the level of biomechanical stress prevalent during product use within the user.
