Abstract

The conjugate gradient boundary iteration (CGBI) is a domain decomposition method for elliptic partial differential equations. In the context of fractional step methods [7], a Navier-Stokes solver based on CGBI [1],[2],[3],[5] and a characteristic's method [5] is constructed. Numerical results for the flow around a cylinder (modelled in 2d) are presented.
