Abstract

The presented nanocomposite membrane is intrinsically safe, highly permeable as well as highly selective by employing the anhyd. functionalized ionic liq. [Ag(olefin)x]+[Tf2N]-. Its transport properties with respect to propylene/propane sepn. factor qual. correspond to the predicted selective propylene transport, which is based on mixed-gas soly. and diffusion coeff. measurements in the ionic liq.
