Abstract

However young students today are the scientists' nucleus of tomorrow, this study supposes that many students have difficulties with hands on science lessons and negative attitude toward science lab activities. According to teachers' opinions, that probably due to lack and complex of science lab activities in schools, so they recommend offering simple activities with fun and safety materials. "NESSI meets Hapi" project offer enjoyably science activities, hands on learning with safety household materials. This study's purpose is to examine the impact of "NESSI meets Hapi" project in positively managing "the attitude toward science lab activities" for 4th primary classes' Egyptian students. Two instruments were developed to survey teachers’ opinions and to detect the students’ attitudes toward science lab activities before and after the project utilization. After involving in 16 experiments lesson during the project, the study found a significantly positive increase in attitudes in favor of experimental group after the treatment. So educators should adopt activities in science curricula.
