What are the strengths and weaknesses of ICT and media literacy of German students? What do they think about eLearning with main emphasis on blended learning in attendance of their studies at university? Are there any differences between the next teacher generation and other students of the same age? How should we construe these differences for the integration of new learning technologies into teaching? These were the main questions of a representative survey at the University of Passau, located in the south-east of Germany, a survey carried out in summer 2006.
