Abstract


A compact all-polarization maintaining 2.05 mu m fiber laser system emitting femtosecond pulses at 1-MW peak power is studied and applied to dielectric laser acceleration of non-relativistic electrons obtaining acceleration gradients up to similar to 50 MeV/m.
