Abstract

Business process management practitioners often face the challenge of translating the long-term business strategy from the top management into operational BPM implications for teams and information systems. At the same time, the top management wants a founded bottom-up control of BPM activities concerning their contribution to the corporate strategy. Business Process Transparency Management (BPTM) describes a framework in progress which aims to make a contribution to this business problem by providing guidelines, new methods, and best practices for strategy implementation and controlling.
