Abstract

Multifocal phakic intraocular lenses are an attractive method to correct presbyopia. The
manufacturing of such lenses by picosecond laser structuring is a very promising approach. In this paper we present our results of the ablation behavior of current intraocular lens materials regarding ablation threshold and ablation rate.
