Abstract

A method for an arithmetical elimination of superimposed interference fringe modulations in laser spectroscopic sensor signals has been developed. It is based on analyzing the harmonic components of the Fourier spectrum calculated from the measured signal. The technique is especially suited for remote measurements including fringes with unknown modulation frequency. The effectiveness of the method is demonstrated by comparison of the results with classic least-square calculations of the gas concentration signal.
