Abstract

Remarkably mechanically stable spherical nanostructures are formed by UV-initiated polymerization from polymerizable lipofullerene 1 in multilamellar lipid vesicles. The polymer beads can be filled or hollow. R=COO(CH ) C ≃ C-C ≃ C(CH ) CH .
