Abstract

Phthalocyaninato- and tetrapyrazoporpyhrazinato metal complexes PcM and TPzPM (M = Fe, Ru) which are treated with bidentate bridging ligands L [e.g. 1,4-diisocyanobenzene (dib) 2,3,5,6-tetramethyldiisocyanobenzene (medib), 4-isocyano-3,5-dimethylpyridine (mepyNC), pyrazine (pyz)] lead to linear bridged systems [PcM(L)] and [TPzPM(L)]. By using the peripherically substituted macrocycles t-BuPcM, and t-BuTPzPM the corresponding coordination oligomers are soluble in CHCl, CHCl or toluene. The average chain length can be determined by H-NMR-spectroscopy. If the bringing ligand is substituted with long side chains, e.g. 2,5-didecylpyrazine (decpyz) soluble coordination oligomers, e.g. [PcRu(decpyz)] are also obtained. © 1991.
