Internationalisation in Schools, Networks and Regional Educational Landscapes

Description / Outline

Internationalisation has become important for educational institutions, including schools, and can be understood both as a condition and as a task for organizational development. Our research examines the following questions: How do individual actors (such as schools) shape the process of internationalization? Which strategies of internationalisation are pursued in different local and regional educational landscapes? How internationalisation policies and pedagogical concepts are perceived and implemented with regard to different regional and local contexts? To what extent are there inequalities and disparities related to internationalisation in education and which strategies are used to address them?
