Patent type: Priority Patent Application
Patent number: JP2003188782A
Registration date: Oct. 9, 2002
Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved antenna hopping sequence for TX diversity in a wireless telecommunication system. SOLUTION: In the overall spectrum efficiency of the wireless telecommunication system, at least one multiframe signal having a plurality of sub-frames in which predefined logic channels (BCCH, FCCH and SCH) are repeatedly embedded in the predefined sub-frame is transmitted and a transmitter diversity is applied using an antenna and/or polarization hopping sequences to transmit each of the logic channels (BCCH, FCCH and SCH) at least twice by using different antennas and/or polarized waves during the transmission of one multiframe. Thus, the total spectrum efficiency of the wireless telecommunication system, in particular of a mobile communication system, is improved.
